The Ethiopian Journal of Education
The Ethiopian Journal of Education (EJE) is one of the reputable journals published in the area of education. It is among the few pioneers in the publication of educational articles at least to recent time. Its long-standing and uninterrupted history in the publication of scientific articles in Education and Humanities dates back to the 1960s. A retrospective glance from the time of its inception to the present shows that the Journal has passed through series of stages to reach the point of reputation.

ZENA-LISSAN (Journal of Academy of Ethiopian Languages and Cultures)
The Zena-Lissan Journal was started in 1996 by the then Ethiopian Languages Research Centre (ELRC), now the Academy of Ethiopian Languages and Cultures (hereafter AELC), focused especially on the cultures (folklores) and languages of different societies within Ethiopia. Since then, the journal has continued to be published biannually in Amharic and English languages aimed to encourage research and promote dialogue among scholars of interdisciplinary fields.

Journal of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences
Journal of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (JAES) is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes original research as well as review articles related to agriculture and environmental sciences. Journal of Indigenous Knowledge and Development Studies
JIKDS is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that issues a call for papers twice a year through various online platforms, in January and July, and publishes manuscripts in June and December. It serves as a platform for exchanging information and research results that highlight significant advances in the relationship between indigenous knowledge and development studies. JIKDS is dedicated to publishing high-quality works and acts as a communication platform for professionals, researchers, practitioners, and other interested scholars. Furthermore, it encourages researchers and publishers to focus on community-oriented issues that contribute to link development and indigenous knowledge.

Journal of Ethiopian Studies
JES was established in 1963 at the Institute of Ethiopian Studies, with the aim of publishing and disseminating scientific research outputs. Since then, the JES has continued to act as a representative, reputable publication for over half a century, being one of the oldest journals at Addis Ababa University. The JES publishes scholarly articles in the Social Sciences and Humanities with reference to Ethiopia in particular and the Horn of Africa in general. Besides original research papers, the JES publishes book reviews, dissertation abstracts, and short communications about research projects. It’s a biannual journal that publishes articles in multiple languages. With English and Amharic being the main operating languages, the JES also publishes articles in French, Italian, and Geez under special circumstances.

Ethiopian Journal of the Social Sciences and Humanities
The journal Ethiopian Journal of the Social Sciences and Humanities (EJOSSAH) is dedicated to promote fresh scholarly enquiry on Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa. It is devoted to empirical and analytical research and its application in social sciences and humanities. It was officially launched in 2003 as the official journal of the college of social sciences, Addis Ababa University.
The journal EJOSSAH publishes original papers that have not been published previously. They include articles based on original research using primary empirical data, including surveys, in-depth interviews, key informant interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), archives, newspapers, and government and non-governmental organization documents or articles developed by using secondary data. In the latter's case, the author should clearly outline his/her fresh/new contribution or a new reinterpretation of the existing literature. In addition, it also publishes book reviews, short communications, obituaries and conference papers.
EJOSSAH is an Open Access journal.
Contributions to the journal shall be submitted in English, with summaries in English.
The Journal is issued 2 times a year (every June and December)
The journal is indexed in EJOL, AJOL, DOAJ and other scholarly search engines and aggregators.
Peer Review Policy: All research articles published in EJOSSAH undergo editorial screening and double-blind peer review.

Ethiopian Journal of Development Research
The Ethiopian Journal of Development Research (EJDR) is a biannual journal devoted to communicating development-oriented research, published by the College of Development Studies. The publication covers wide areas of development and attempts to share and nurture knowledge about the multi-disciplinary study of development problems of Ethiopia in particular and the less developed world in general. The journal publishes original articles, book reviews, synopses of major research, theoretical and methodological approaches in the broader area of development. Journal of African Development Studies
Owned by the Ethiopian Civil Service University, the Journal of African Development Studies- JADS was launched in 2008 , and relaunched in 2019, after a period of discontinuation, to engage in academic as well as policy-oriented research that contributes towards supporting the teaching and training mission of the University- founded on sound scientific research findings and informing and challenging policy formulation and implementation on matters of development in its broad range, notably, social, economic, environmental, political and related cross-cutting dimensions.

Arsi Journal of Science and Innovation
Arsi Journal of Science and Innovation (AJSI) is a multidisciplinary double blind reviewed journal published biannually in May and October. Journal of Business and Administrative Studies
The purpose of JBAS is to provide practitioners and scholars opportunities for research based debate as well as discourse in the fields of business management, human resource management, accounting and finance, economics, project management, public and development management, marketing, and governance related fields. JBAS is a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal published by St Mary University (SMU). The first and the second issues of the journaL are published in June and December of every year respectively. JBAS is a nationally accredited journal by the Ethiopian Ministry of Education since 2021.

Ethiopian Journal of Human Rights
The Ethiopian Journal of Human Rights (EJHR) is a multidisciplinary journal published by the Center for Human Rights, Addis Ababa University (CHR, AAU). The objectives of the EJHR include promotion of knowledge and dialogue on issues of human rights as multidisciplinary theme. EJHR envisions promoting human rights values including, but not limited to, understanding, tolerance, and participation. The EJHR welcomes solicited and unsolicited research articles, reviews, commentaries, decisions of courts/tribunals, opinions/notes/reflections, on various themes related to human rights.

The Ethiopian Journal of Business and Economics (EJBE) is a biannual peer-reviewed publication of the College of Business and Economics, Addis Ababa University. It seeks to encourage thinking among academics, practitioners and policy makers in the fields of Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Management, and Public Administration and Development Management. Equally important, its main mission is to stimulate research-based and inter- and multi-disciplinary debate on the issues involving the four fields particularly as these pertain to the Ethiopian setting and development challenges. EJBE publishes research reports, book reviews, and Master’s thesis and PhD dissertation (abridged versions or chapters). Ethiopian Journal Of Behavioural Studies
The mission of the Ethiopian Journal of Behavioural Studies (EJoBS) is to advance the field of behavioural studies in Ethiopia through publication of peer reviewed, original, scholarly articles, reviews, and communications of ideas within educational and social settings. EJoBS is a bi-annual print Journal of the CEBS, AAU. Original research articles, meta-analytic studies, desk reviews and short communications of important theoretical and practical contributions in the area of behavioural studies are welcomed.
